Lavov Lighting successfully designed the lighting for Cal Magí Ferriol, the historic building of the La Llacuna Municipality, transforming it into a modern, multifunctional cultural and museum facility. Cal Magí Ferriol, an iconic cultural heritage building, was acquired by the La Llacuna Municipality with the goal of revitalizing the local community. The challenge was to create a functional and welcoming space while respecting its historical elements, such as the wine cellar, stables, and oil press. Lavov Lighting's lighting design was carefully curated to highlight the architectural features and create a specific atmosphere for each unique area of the facility.
To create a grand first impression at the entrance, Lavov Lighting suggested three large suspended luminaires. This design choice provides ample light while also serving as a visual focal point, creating a modern yet respectful ambiance.

The paddocks, with their curved roofs, were illuminated using a low-voltage magnetic rail system. This allowed for a flexible lighting setup that could be adapted to different needs. Lavov Lighting's design used a combination of floodlights for general illumination, linear wall projectors to highlight the side walls, and cylindrical projectors to accentuate specific historical elements. This layered approach ensures both functionality and a dramatic, focused effect. The project used a total of 13 sections of electrified rail (26m) for the first two paddocks and 4 sections (8m) for the last one, along with numerous projectors of different types.

These spaces, central to the building’s history, were lit by Lavov Lighting using a three-phase electrified track with 30W LED projectors. The track will be located in the center of the room, with projectors directed appropriately to highlight the machinery that makes up the oil mill. A total of 20 projectors will be arranged (one every 0.5m) and oriented to create a spectacular lighting effect.

Outdoor illumination was designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, encouraging evening use. The walls were lit with an IP67 flexible LED profile, placed 20cm from the walls, to create a “spectacular effect of spaciousness.” For the central area, luminous garlands with warm (2700K) LED bulbs were arranged in a radial “star ceiling” pattern, using existing structures and new metal posts for support. This creates a rustic, festive feel.

After repairing the leaks, Lavov Lighting used the same solution for the cellar as for the oil mill. The track will be installed longitudinally in the center of the premises, with a projector placed every 50cm. In total, 20m of track and 20 projectors will be arranged to create a spectacular lighting effect.
